Job summary

Blend Labs Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer in Raleigh, NC to design, implement, and maintain the platform powering mortgages. You will work with AI coding agents throughout the development lifecycle to deliver scalable software and a seamless user experience across devices.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in CS or related field and 1–3 years of production software experience. You’ll join an in-office team in Raleigh, contributing to high-impact financial services platforms and growth

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
1–3 years of production software experience.
Proficiency with AI-assisted development techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

Build features end-to-end across the stack with scalable backend services and responsive UIs.
Utilize AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) throughout the development lifecycle.
Review, test, and harden AI-generated code for production readiness and reliability.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver accessible user experiences.
Participate in code reviews and on-call rotations, mentoring teammates as needed.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and robust code.
