Job summary

Blend is seeking an in-office Software Engineer in Raleigh, NC. You will design, implement, and maintain a platform used for millions in mortgage processing, and work with AI coding agents daily across the lifecycle. Early-career engineers with a strong base in full-stack development and modern frameworks are encouraged to apply.

You will collaborate with product and design teams to deliver scalable, accessible features, while building robust software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of production software experience.
• Proficient with Node.js, TypeScript, or Golang and front-end tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React).
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Able to work with AI coding tools as part of daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build features end-to-end across the stack, including UI and back-end services.
• Use AI coding agents daily across the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to planning, design, code analysis, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Review, test, and harden AI-generated code for production quality.
• Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers for accessible UX.
• Participate in code reviews and on-call rotation.
