Job summary

Jacobs seeks a mid-level AI Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered apps across government and private-sector clients. You will work across the full stack using Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and modern AI frameworks, and you will configure MCP servers to connect models with enterprise data.

The role sits in the Digital and Data team, supporting innovation with data scientists, engineers, and project managers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, AI, data science, or similar.
Demonstrated proficiency building applications with AI/LLM APIs and frameworks (Claude, OpenAI, LangChain).
Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript skills; working knowledge of SQL.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and tools using Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and modern AI frameworks.
Build and configure MCP servers and integrations to connect AI models with enterprise data sources, APIs, and tooling.
Develop RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted automation solutions for internal and client-facing projects.
Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions.
Architect and implement full-stack solutions including front-end interfaces and back-end APIs.
