Job summary

Clayco is seeking a highly adaptable Software Engineer to join our Application Development team in St. Louis.

This full-time, on-site role focuses on turning prototypes into secure, scalable enterprise applications, integrating enterprise data, and applying robust architectural and security controls. You will work with business users to understand workflows, deliver production-ready solutions, and leverage AI tools like Claude Code and Codex throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-stack software development.
• Proficient with C# and .NET.
• Experience designing, querying, and developing against relational databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and system integrations.
• Understanding of modern application architecture and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support modern full-stack applications.
• Build front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop APIs and back-end services using .NET/C#.
