Job summary

Texas Capital seeks an analytics professional to own finance analytics end-to-end, collaborating with engineering and BI teams. You will translate business needs into actionable insights, build AI-powered analytics products, and drive decisions across FP&A, liquidity management, and financial performance.

The role emphasizes evolving from static reporting to dynamic, AI-assisted insights with strong data governance and a culture of learning. 1–3 years of experience requested.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in analytics or data science.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; comfortable writing production-quality, version-controlled code.
• Familiarity with dimensional modeling and cloud data warehouses; Snowflake experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, well-documented SQL and Python that others can maintain and build on; apply AI to analytics workflows and automate insight generation.
• Build dashboards and data applications Finance teams actually use, and improve them based on feedback.
• Validate data accuracy against business expectations and collaborate with data engineering and governance to fix data quality issues.
• Translate analytical findings into clear narratives for Finance leadership, including CFO and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate on AI integration: design and test LLM-powered analytics workflows and prompt engineering.
• Spot gaps in analytics and propose AI-enabled solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and communities of practice to grow the AI analytics function.
