Job summary

Greystar is seeking a DataOps Engineer to join the Data Marketplace team. You will own the reliability, scalability, and observability of a Databricks-native data platform on Azure, with a focus on AI-enabled DataOps, self-healing pipelines, and structured release management.

You will work inside Databricks, manage CI/CD with GitHub Enterprise and Linear, and collaborate across engineering, governance, and product stakeholders to deliver data pipeline capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

7+ years in DataOps or data engineering in production
Expert-level Databricks: Delta Live Tables, Jobs/Workflows, Unity Catalog
Strong Azure data services experience: ADF, ADLS Gen2, Monitor, Key Vault
Demonstrated production use of AI in DataOps or observability workflows
Proven CI/CD experience with GitHub Enterprise and release management

Responsibilities

Own design, build, and optimization of data pipelines on Databricks across the DMP medallion stack
Administer and govern Databricks workspace and lifecycle management
Tune Spark jobs for performance, reliability, and cost
Architect and enforce DMP platform standards and governance policies
Partner with analytics engineers and product stakeholders to align pipeline design
