Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks an experienced DevOps/DataOps engineer to own and evolve the GitHub Enterprise–based, Terraform-powered platform that governs Databricks deployments. You will build reusable workflows, automation, and guardrails to accelerate enterprise BI delivery.

You will partner with Enterprise BI teams to remove blockers, onboard IT and citizen developers, and ensure platform reliability, security, and governance across Unity Catalog and IAM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 5–8 years for Senior IT Specialist or 8+ years for Lead/Principal level
• 5+ years of relevant DevOps/DataOps experience preferred
• Experience with enterprise BI deployments and governance is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own, operate, and continuously improve the DevOps/DataOps platform
• Engineer GitHub Enterprise and Terraform foundations and reusable workflows
• Enable consistent Databricks deployments through DAB standards and CI/CD guardrails
• Build reusable agents, skills, recipes, and automation for developer teams
• Onboard IT and citizen-developer teams to governed data product delivery
• Maintain platform reliability, security, and governance across Unity Catalog and IAM
• Manage incidents and production changes in ITIL-aligned processes
