Job summary

Greystar is seeking a DataOps Engineer to join the Data Marketplace (DMP) team. This role is Databricks- and Azure-heavy, owning reliability, scalability, and observability of the DMP platform in a medallion architecture.

You will work with Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, and Jobs, using ADF, ADLS Gen2, Azure Monitor, and more. AI-driven diagnostics and self-healing pipelines are central to the role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of DataOps, data engineering, or platform engineering in production.
• Expert-level hands-on with Databricks: Delta Live Tables, Jobs/Workflows, Unity Catalog, Spark tuning.

Responsibilities

• Own AI-driven observability and agentic monitoring for DMP layers.
• Operate full Azure data services stack (ADF, ADLS Gen2, Monitor, Key Vault).
• Design and maintain ADF pipelines for multi-tenant ERP environments.
• Own CI/CD and environment promotion for DMP data workflows using GitHub Enterprise & Linear.
• Collaborate with analytics, governance, and product stakeholders.
