Job summary

Plum is seeking an AI-Enabled Data & Automation Engineer to solve complex data challenges, build scalable pipelines, and automate lead generation and enrichment. You’ll leverage AI to accelerate development using Python, Databricks, and LLM-powered tools.

You’ll collaborate with product and GTM teams to translate business needs into robust data solutions, continuously evaluating new AI tools for speed and quality gains, in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical field.
• Strong Python skills with data processing, automation, and API integrations.
• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and enriching large datasets.
• Develop Python-based automation for data collection, transformation, validation, and workflow orchestration.
• Build and optimize data processing workflows using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Integrate data from multiple SaaS platforms via REST APIs and other integrations.
• Develop scalable workflows for lead generation, enrichment, and sales intelligence.
• Implement data cleansing, deduplication, entity resolution, normalization, and matching.
