Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Sr Distinguished Product Manager for Agentic Advertising to define and scale new advertising experiences within AI-powered shopping journeys. You will lead the product strategy and collaborate with teams across advertising, e-commerce, search, personalization, design, and data science to create transparent, relevant sponsored experiences.

You will build metrics, experimentation frameworks, and scalable capabilities to optimize sponsor value, customer trust, and basket

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across teams.
• Strong analytical skills with metrics, dashboards, and models.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy, roadmap, and execution for AI-powered advertising experiences.
• Develop new AI-native ad formats that integrate shopper intent and basket signals.
• Shape how sponsored products, recommendations, and brand experiences appear in conversations.
• Collaborate with ad, e‑commerce, search, design, data science, and privacy teams to bring monetization to market.
• Establish customer-first principles for relevance, transparency, disclosure, and ranking integrity.
• Identify surfaces and moments where sponsored recommendations improve decision making and basket completion.
• Build experimentation frameworks to measure engagement, advertiser value, and trust.
• Translate advertiser needs into scalable capabilities: targeting, placement, reporting, attribution, optimization.
• Set requirements for ad serving, instrumentation, and closed-loop measurement.
• Balance monetization with customer experience to keep sponsored content helpful and transparent.
• Help define how retail media evolves as AI assistants influence decisions.
