Job summary

EPRI is seeking an AI Software Applications Lead for Power Systems to design, implement, test, and support AI-native software for the energy sector. You will lead a product development team and collaborate with Transmission Operations & Planning and IGES leadership to create enduring AI-powered solutions for power systems.

The role requires a Master/PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering with emphasis on AI for Power Systems and 3+ years in AI development.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a Master or PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering with emphasis on AI for Power Systems.
• Minimum 3+ years of AI development focused on power system applications.
• Experience with AI pipelines, data and simulation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and lead AI-native software initiatives for power systems.
• Architect, test, and deploy AI-enabled software frameworks and solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and research leadership to align strategy and delivery.
• Guide researchers and developers across product teams to achieve outcomes.
