Job summary

The Bowery Residents Committee in New York, NY is seeking an Application Developer Summer Intern to support enterprise applications and AI-powered automation. You will gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 development, including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI Copilot agents.

You will organize data, apply metadata properties, build SharePoint sites and Power Apps solutions, and help test Copilot automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Associate degree in CS/IT/IS or related field.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook).
Basic understanding of Power Apps and Power Automate.
Interest in AI technologies and automation, including Microsoft Copilot.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Self-motivated to learn new technologies quickly.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Organize data and apply metadata for AI and automation initiatives.
Assist in creating and customizing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and pages with proper metadata frameworks.
Support Power Apps solutions for business processes.
Help design and implement Power Automate workflows to streamline operations.
Participate in testing and debugging of SharePoint applications and automation workflows.
Document application configurations, workflows, and technical specifications.
Provide end-user support and troubleshooting.
