Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an applications engineer to drive design-in activities for multiphase power solutions powering AI and data-center platforms. The role involves troubleshooting, on-site customer support, and creating reference designs and documentation.

You will develop evaluation boards, write application notes, and participate in datasheet reviews to ensure product robustness and helpful customer guidance.

Qualifications

• Schematic review of customer boards and evaluation hardware.
• Debugging customer issues on boards and evaluation environments.
• On-site board support and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Quality solution on GPU/CPU/ASIC platforms.
• Schematic and layout review of customer applications.
• Debug of customer problems by recreating issues on evaluation boards.
• On-site support for customer boards as required.
• Generate simulation models from customer requirements.
• Design EVM and internal evaluation boards for product correlation and testing.
• Create user guides and test procedures for release of EVM boards.
• Participate in datasheet reviews for completeness.
• Perform bench characterization for multiphase controller devices and automation.
• Support early design activities for new products.
• Create reference designs for customer implementations.
• Write application notes describing use cases and product flexibility.
• Answer customer questions and support design-in activities; respond to forum and email inquiries.
