Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Applications Engineer to support design-in activities for released products, answer customer questions, and assist with evaluation and characterization on TI devices. You will work closely with customers to review schematics and layouts, reproduce issues, and provide on-site support as needed.

In this role, you will design EVMs, write application notes, create guides and procedures, and participate in datasheet reviews to ensure product robustness and clear

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in analog/applications support.
  • Experience in applications support of analog products.
  • Solid hardware and software debugging skills.
  • Strong technical background with high-quality technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer questions and support design-in activities for released products, including forum and email questions from customers.
  • Review schematics and layouts of customer applications and debug issues on evaluation boards.
  • Provide on-site support for customer boards as needed.
  • Design EVM and internal evaluation boards to support correlation and evaluation of new products.
  • Create user guides, test procedures and release EVM boards for customers.
