Texas Instruments is seeking an Applications Engineer for the Data Center DDR PMIC family. You will collaborate with a global customer base to drive design-in opportunities, validate power integrity, and deliver robust reference designs and application notes.

The role emphasizes close interaction with Systems Engineers, automation for data analysis, and on-site support across world-wide customer sites to ensure successful deployments of TI power solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Foundational knowledge of power electronics (DC-DC conversion) and control loop theory.
  • Experience with PCB design tools and power layout principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to support global customers.

Responsibilities

  • Answering customer questions and supporting design-in activities for released products, including expert technical support via forums and email.
  • Performing schematic and layout reviews of customer applications to ensure power integrity and stability.
  • Debugging customer issues by recreating scenarios on TI evaluation boards or customer boards.
  • Providing on-site support at customer locations as required to ensure successful implementation.
  • Navigating design windows and managing requirements for AVL qualification.
