Job summary

UnitedHealth Group invites an experienced professional to join as Associate Director, AI Portfolio Enablement. You will shape, structure, and prioritize a portfolio of AI opportunities, translating unstructured demand into clearly defined, decision-ready initiatives with solid business cases and measurable value.

You will partner with business, technology, and data teams, lead executive communications, develop CBAs, and frame opportunities for governance and funding.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product strategy, portfolio management, or solution delivery with AI/ML exposure.
• Experience building business cases and CBAs and turning insights into recommendations.
• Proven ability to frame ambiguous problems and define clear opportunities.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and executive stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and refine a portfolio of AI opportunities aligned to strategy and value.
• Translate unstructured AI demand into defined, decision-ready initiatives.
• Lead opportunity framing with problem definition, solution hypotheses, stakeholder alignment, and dependencies.
• Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses (CBA) with value hypotheses across financial, operational, workforce, and risk dimensions.
• Present portfolio recommendations to governance forums and influence funding decisions.
