Job summary

Fathom is hiring a Vice President of Federal Policy to lead our engagement with Congress and the Executive Branch in Washington, DC. This senior leader will set and drive the federal agenda, represent the organization publicly, and guide the policy team through a rapidly evolving AI policy landscape.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in federal government affairs, senior congressional staff roles, or federal advocacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to draft testimony, comments, memos, and talking points.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute Fathom's federal legislative and regulatory strategy; set priorities and sequencing.
• Build bipartisan relationships with Members, staff, leadership offices, and agencies.
• Represent Fathom in hearings, briefings, and stakeholder convenings; interact with White House and agencies on AI policy.
