Job summary

CivAI, located in Berkeley, is seeking a full-time Program Manager to enhance AI education for policymakers and the public. This multifaceted role will involve preparing briefings, writing communications, and developing new programs to broaden CivAI’s impact in the community.

The ideal candidate has experience in consulting or startup environments and possesses excellent communication skills. The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $175,000, with comprehensive health benefits and catered meals.

Qualifications

• A few years of experience in consulting, startups, or policy, or a relevant degree with project experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly across various mediums.
• Strong personal agency and proactive in initiating new projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare briefings and presentations for decision makers.
• Write memos, articles, and other communication materials.
• Develop strategies for expanding CivAI's outreach.
• Plan and coordinate educational events on AI.
• Track and analyze outcomes of programs.
• Network within the AI space to stay updated.
