Job summary

WRITER is seeking a Security Engineer to build the security foundations of our AI-powered platform. You will embed security into every feature, from threat modeling LLM architectures to automated controls across services.

You’ll secure training data pipelines, customer-facing agents, and AI services at scale. You will work across New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle offices, reporting to the head of security engineering.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in application security engineering for large-scale production systems.
• Experience improving developer experience while reducing risk and preserving velocity.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and ability to review code across languages.

Responsibilities

• Integrate security into AI platform features and architectures from day one.
• Lead SAST/DAST in CI/CD and perform security code reviews for critical changes.
• Develop secure coding standards and reusable security patterns for developers.
