Job summary

Moveworks in Palo Alto, CA seeks an IT Systems Engineer (contract) to lead the deployment of Moveworks AI Agents and integrate platforms via REST APIs. The role emphasizes hands-on implementation, onboarding teams, and acting as a technical escalation point in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on IT systems engineering or similar.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Golang, or PowerShell for REST API integrations.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow, Slack, and Entra.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, IT, or related field.
• Onsite cadence of 3 days/week in Palo Alto, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of Moveworks AI Agents, from discovery to production, ensuring impactful deployment.
• Architect and develop workflows connecting Moveworks, ServiceNow, Slack, Entra, and other platforms via REST APIs and automation.
• Facilitate onboarding of new internal teams and knowledge bases, customizing AI solutions.
• Serve as an L2/L3 escalation contact for IT operations including servers, virtualization, cloud services, and help desk systems.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
