Job summary

Karbon is seeking a senior AI Platform leader to extend, govern, and measure our AI tooling across departments. You will ship internal automations, manage the data gateway, and build a scalable governance framework with ROI insights.

You will own spend dashboards for Claude and other tools, develop an ROI model, and run an AI champions program with department pods. You’ll partner with Security, Finance, and CTO to ensure security and adoption.

Qualifications

• Shipped production software in the last two years as the writer of the code.
• Built something on top of a large language model with users and cost controls.
• Worked with non-technical teams as the technical lead in the room.
• Able to build a number from messy data and defend it to a CFO.

Responsibilities

• Ship internal automations and agents across Sales, CS, Implementation, Support, and Operations.
• Extend MCP data gateway into a routing proxy with Okta authentication and RBAC.
• Develop a renewal risk signal, SOW generator, and ticket triage router for teams.
• Own governance: Claude access, spend dashboard, and ROI framework with Finance.
• Run AI champions program and maintain a shared AI wiki and prompts library.
• Define metrics, build data pipelines, and publish regular executive reports.
