Job summary

The Aspen Group (TAG) is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to own and extend our AI platforms built on Google Cloud, Claude Enterprise, and Gemini Enterprise. You will govern onboarding, plugins, connectors, and marketplace extensions, enabling teams to adopt AI safely and efficiently.

In this hands‑on role you’ll deploy and operate AI workloads, build automation, and drive governance and best practices across the stack while working from our Chicago area office on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, MLOps or related roles.
• Strong Python programming; familiarity with JS/TS/Go/Java a plus.
• Hands-on Google Cloud (GCP) experience; AWS/Azure welcome but GCP central.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform).
• Experience with identity, access provisioning (SSO/SAML/SCIM) and user lifecycle.
• Experience building AI delivery workstreams and production services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong documentation skills.
• Based in Chicago area, onsite/hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Operate and extend Claude Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise, and related AI workloads in production.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and deployment automation for AI apps and models.
• Instrumentation of AI systems with monitoring, logging, observability; on-call rotation.
• Manage integrations with model providers and APIs, incl. auth, rate limits, quotas, failover.
• Own onboarding for Claude Enterprise and Gemini Enterprise; license/SSO and group/role configuration.
• Manage user lifecycle: onboarding, role changes, deprovisioning; auditable access.
• Build automation and self-service flows for AI tools with proper permissions.
• Track adoption and seat utilization; collaborate with IT and Security on provisioning.
