Job summary

The Aspen Group is hiring an AI Platform Engineer in Chicago to own and operate our AI platforms built on Google Cloud, including Claude Enterprise and Gemini Enterprise. You will enable safe, scalable AI adoption, extend plugins and marketplace extensions, and own onboarding and governance of users and tools.

This role emphasizes platform end-to-end ownership, CI/CD, IaC automation, and observability, with onsite/hybrid work in the Chicago area and collaboration across Delivery, Cloud, and SRE

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or a similar software/infrastructure role.
• Strong Python skills; comfortable with at least one other language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Java).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud (GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Experience with identity, access, and provisioning (SSO/SAML/SCIM) and user lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Operate and extend AI platforms (Claude Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise) on Google Cloud.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and deployment automation for AI applications and agents.
• Instrument AI systems with monitoring, logging, and observability and handle on-call issues.
• Manage onboarding and lifecycle for users, licenses, and access to AI tools.
