Job summary

The New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) seeks a Technology Analyst 1 (AI) to design, build, and validate AI platforms and developer capabilities within AI Platform Engineering. You will translate requirements into technical designs and drive secure, scalable cloud implementations across GCP, AWS, and Azure.

You will implement DevSecOps and MLOps pipelines, develop data preparation and model evaluation workflows, and coordinate releases with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of information technology experience, one (1) year in AI.
• Experience designing, building, and validating AI platforms and services.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical designs and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into project backlogs, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
• Design, code, integrate, and test secure applications using Python, C#, .NET, PowerShell, and SQL.
• Build IaC for cloud labs (GCP/AWS/Azure) and implement security boundaries.
• Develop AI pipelines, data prep, model evaluation, and release criteria.
• Coordinate releases and document deployment instructions for service owners.
