Verizon is hiring an AI Engineer to evaluate, fine-tune, and deploy open-source models and LLMs. You will build MCP servers and tools, create agentic workflows, and integrate developer tools across our SDLC. Hybrid work with strong emphasis on impact and innovation.

You will work on cutting-edge GenAI tooling, improve developer productivity, and collaborate with global teams to advance enterprise capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience.
• Four+ years of relevant AI/ML software engineering experience.
• Experience building MCP servers, tools, and integrations.
• Knowledge of IDE extension development and developer workflow automation.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and deploy MCP servers and tools to connect APIs, tools and data sources with AI agents.
• Develop and fine-tune agentic workflows and multi-agent architectures.
• Apply advanced prompt design and context engineering to maximize accuracy.
• Evaluate, test, and integrate AI developer tools into the workflow.
• Optimize and deploy open-source models and LLMs for enterprise needs.
• Conduct fast-paced research on GenAI tools to stay ahead.
