Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build and support the AI Powered Experiences team's conversational AI orchestration platforms. You will deliver production-grade GenAI solutions by combining hands-on development with architecture input, while partnering with product and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate brings experience in agent orchestration, conversational AI, or RAG, and has worked on cloud-native infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python/JS/TypeScript and cloud-native delivery.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and GitHub-based pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Balance hands-on engineering with architectural input and production support.
• Develop, test, and document code for orchestration platform components.
• Integrate third-party products and observability tooling for scalable AI platform delivery.
• Translate specifications into code for complex AI platform projects and onboarding templates.
• Contribute to proof-of-concept, prototyping, and exploratory AI platform work.
