Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to lead the design, build, and operation of our cloud platform powering enterprise-grade AI solutions within our Generative AI initiative. You will collaborate with AI engineers and software developers to deploy secure, scalable production systems.

Key focus areas include containerized deployments with Kubernetes and Docker, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and multi-tenant architectures with strong governance, observability, and security

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, and automation.
• Knowledge of observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Langfuse, Azure Monitor).
• Experience with cloud security and multi-tenant architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and modern software practices.
• Understanding of AI platforms, LLMs, or RAG is beneficial.
• Strong troubleshooting and operations mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the infrastructure and platform capabilities for enterprise AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain containerized apps and deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Drive production readiness including security, scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Design multi-tenant architectures with strong isolation and governance.
• Establish monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and dashboards.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Define security controls, secrets management, and identity integration.
• Collaborate to transition AI solutions from prototype to production.
• Contribute to application development focusing on platform capabilities and tooling.
