Job summary

Core States Group is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to join the Digital Transformation team in the Philadelphia region. You will build and maintain the connectivity layer enabling AI access to the firm’s core systems, including integration services and MCP servers for BI, ERP, design, and document management platforms, with robust auth, logging, and auditing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
• Azure cloud experience with hosting integration workloads.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into production software.
• Familiarity with model-context protocol, tool-calling patterns, and RAG concepts.
• Source control, CI/CD, and IaC practices (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform).
• Experience with enterprise connectors and MCP servers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integration services and MCP servers exposing firm systems to approved AI platforms.
• Implement per-user authorization and secure token handling across source systems.
• Build audit logging, monitoring, and access reporting for AI-to-system traffic.
• Develop evaluation infrastructure and automated tests for connector correctness and model behavior.
• Evaluate connectors and make build-versus-adopt recommendations.
• Develop AI-enabled features in internal applications with LLM API integration.
• Write technical docs and deploy automation; collaborate with PMs and system owners.
