Fireworks AI is seeking a product-minded engineer to join as a Member of Technical Staff, owning surfaces that drive our intelligent router, FireConnect integrations, and the core platform for AI workloads.

This high-autonomy IC role ships production-grade features end-to-end for deeply technical users, spanning frontend React/TypeScript, backend Python/Go, APIs, and data layers, with emphasis on measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a software engineer with user-facing products.
• Strong full-stack experience across frontend, backend, APIs.
• Experience shipping developer-facing products.
• Experience with AI tooling and inference platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own surfaces end-to-end from problem understanding to design, shipping, and monitoring usage.
• Build routing and migration layers that optimize cost while directing tasks to appropriate models.
• Extend and integrate FireConnect with external APIs to enable easy adoption.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Applied Research, Growth, Data, and Design to turn platform capabilities into developer-friendly products.
• Instrument everything you build and iterate based on data.
