Job summary

Fireworks AI, based in San Mateo, seeks a product-minded Staff Software Engineer to own end-to-end features across Nexus and the Fireworks platform. You will work across frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Python/Go), shipping APIs, dashboards, and developer tooling for enterprise users.

You will own routing, cost observability, and integrations, collaborating with Infrastructure, Growth, Data, and Design to turn platform capability into developer-friendly products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a software engineer with experience shipping user-facing products.
• Strong full-stack skills across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Track record shipping developer-facing products: APIs, dashboards, consoles, or developer tools.
• End-to-end ownership and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong product instincts focused on developer experience.
• Ability to ship quickly with pragmatic trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own product features end-to-end across Nexus and Fireworks platform.
• Build routing and migration layer that scores difficulty in real time.
• Extend FireConnect, APIs compatibility with providers.
• Work across frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers.
• Adapt to evolving models and enterprise controls.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Growth, Data, and Design.
• Instrument everything to remove friction.
