Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. seeks an AI Platform Engineer to build, operate, and improve core platform capabilities for AI development at scale.

You will implement APIs, services, and infrastructure to support the AI software lifecycle across Honda’s enterprise environment. You will work hands-on with cloud platforms, automation, and CI/CD practices, ensuring secure, reliable, and reusable platform components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in software or cloud engineering.
• Exposure to AI/ML or generative AI technologies and concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Basic understanding of monitoring, logging, and system observability.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services and cloud‑native application development.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices.
• Experience operating in large, federated enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance platform components that support enterprise AI use cases.
• Develop APIs, microservices, and workflows for AI and agent‑based apps.
• Implement AI solutions using AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, and related services.
• Contribute to reusable components, templates, and shared services.
• Ensure implementations align with architecture standards, security, and practices.
• Participate in design discussions and provide technical input.
