Corebridge Financial seeks an AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise AI/ML platform capabilities on AWS. The role combines cloud infrastructure, data, AI engineering, and governance to support generative AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of cloud/AI platform experience preferred.
• Internships or projects in AWS, AI/ML, data science or software engineering considered for new grads.
• Foundational AWS concepts including IAM, networking, compute, storage, security, monitoring.
• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML concepts and tools like model training/inference or LLMs.
• Programming in Python, Java, or similar; SQL and APIs familiarity; version control; testing.

Responsibilities

• AI/ML platform engineering to support model development, deployment, inference, and lifecycle on AWS.
• Develop cloud-native solutions for compute, storage, networking, security, observability, data processing, and AI/ML (Bedrock/SageMaker).
• Enable generative AI applications, AI agents, APIs, endpoints, prompts workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Create infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, deployment templates, configuration standards, and self-service capabilities.
• Connect AI/ML workloads to enterprise data platforms, APIs, event streams, and data pipelines with proper access controls.
• Implement platform controls for IAM, secrets protection, encryption, logging, monitoring, auditability, model governance.
• Build monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and cost-management for AI/ML services and production workloads.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software/data engineers, architects, and security teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Evaluate emerging AI/ML and AWS technologies; document findings and contribute to standards.
