Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• 9+ years of cloud platform engineering / enterprise technology delivery.
• Strong AWS platform engineering experience with scalable environments.
• Hands-on with IaC, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
• Experience enabling AWS AI/ML and GenAI services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Strong Python and scripting; SQL, APIs, cloud integration, automation.
• Experience with Generative AI architectures, prompt engineering, RAG, model orchestration, and related tooling.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI governance, security, observability, and compliance.

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified AWS AI Platform Engineer to fill an open position with one of our clients in the banking industry. This role will architect, implement, and maintain secure, scalable AI and machine learning platforms that enable enterprise adoption of Generative AI and AI/ML solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep AWS platform engineering expertise with hands‑on experience supporting AI services, infrastructure automation, data integrations, and emerging AI technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape enterprise AI capabilities while establishing the platforms, guardrails, and architectural standards that enable responsible innovation at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

• Architect, provision, and maintain secure, scalable AWS AI/ML platform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and cloud engineering best practices.
• Enable and support AI/ML and GenAI services including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch, creating reusable frameworks and architectural patterns for experimentation and production adoption.
• Design and implement platform capabilities supporting Generative AI, RAG, model orchestration, agentic workflows, evaluation frameworks, and structured and unstructured data integrations.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, security, risk, data, and business teams to establish AI platform standards, guardrails, governance practices, observability, and operational procedures aligned with enterprise technology and regulatory requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, with 9+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, AI/ML enablement, platform architecture, or enterprise technology delivery.
• Advanced hands‑on experience with AWS cloud platform engineering, including provisioning, configuration, automation, monitoring, and operational support of scalable cloud environments.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and DevOps, using technologies such as Terraform, Jenkins, CloudFormation, GitHub, or similar tools.
• Experience enabling and supporting AWS AI/ML and Generative AI services, particularly Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Strong Python programming and scripting skills, with familiarity with SQL, APIs, cloud integration patterns, and automation.
• Experience with Generative AI and agentic AI architectures, including prompt engineering, RAG, model orchestration, evaluation frameworks, tool integration, LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCPs, vector databases, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise AI governance, security, responsible AI, observability, model lifecycle management, and compliance, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, security, risk, data, and business stakeholders.
