EY is seeking a senior platform architect to lead the AI platform initiative across cloud and hybrid environments. You will shape the reference architecture, establish non-functional standards, and run the platform as a product to meet developer needs and drive adoption.

You will design gateways for portable model access, orchestrate elastic compute foundations, and automate production delivery with secure, auditable patterns. Travel up to 50% and hybrid office presence required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Substantial experience designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, SRE, or platform capabilities with production AI workloads.
• Experience building a shared platform adopted by multiple product teams with measurable impact.
• Deep cloud architecture experience and portable patterns for hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Hands-on engineering depth in orchestration, networking, identity, IaC, APIs, and observability.
• Experience operating model-serving and AI lifecycle capabilities including release controls and incident learning.

Aufgaben

• Set the platform direction: define AI platform vision, reference architecture, roadmap, and non-functional standards.
• Run the platform as a product: understand developer needs, define service tiers, prioritize roadmap, measure adoption.
• Enable portable model access: design gateways and stable contracts supporting model choice and policy-aware routing.
• Architect elastic foundations: shape compute, storage, and network for AI workloads balancing cost and resilience.
• Automate the path to production: create repeatable delivery patterns with progressive release and evidence.
• Define trusted agent runtimes: secure execution patterns for tools, identities, approvals, isolation, and replay.
• Engineer for reliability: set service objectives, observability standards, recovery patterns, resilience exercises.
• Make economics visible: connect usage and quality signals to improve unit economics without harming outcomes.
• Guide strategic choices: lead build-vs-buy and portability decisions with cross-functional partners.
• Build capability: mentor engineers and turn emerging tech into reusable production patterns.
