Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices seeks a Platform Architect to shape AI infrastructure and datacenter platforms. Lead rack-scale system architecture across hardware, firmware, software, and system design in a collaborative team. Drive directions spanning silicon to platform integration for hyperscale customers.

You will mentor engineers, influence stakeholders, and help craft architectural roadmaps while guiding programs across compute, I/O, storage, power, and thermal domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering preferred or required.
• Experience with hyperscale and cloud datacenter platforms.
• Strong hardware/software co-design understanding.
• Proven ability to lead large cross-functional engineering programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture of AI, hyperscale, and datacenter platform solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop scalable platform architectures.
• Establish roadmaps, interface definitions, design guidelines, and technology strategies.
• Lead technical reviews and drive architectural decisions across programs.
• Within the first year, become a trusted technical leader mentoring engineers.
