Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to drive platform readiness and enablement for next-generation AI infrastructure and connectivity technologies in San Jose, CA. This director role focuses on scale-up/scale-out solutions, leading across silicon, firmware, software, and ecosystem partners.

You will guide architecture decisions, manage risk, and align teams to deliver robust AI infrastructure platforms and high-performance data center connectivity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading server/data center/HPC platform teams.
• Deep understanding of UA Link, PCIe, CXL, Ethernet.
• Track record delivering complex products from architecture to launch.
• Ability to influence multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy for platform readiness and ecosystem enablement.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across silicon, firmware, software, systems, validation.
• Provide technical and organizational leadership across multiple teams.
• Partner with internal teams, industry consortia, and ecosystem partners.
• Establish scalable validation and qualification strategies.
• Represent AMD in executive reviews and strategic planning discussions.
