Job summary

McAfee is seeking an hands-on AI Infrastructure Lead to own the platforms behind our AI Center of Excellence, including the AI Gateway and MCP factory, ensuring secure and scalable operation and rapid proof-of-concept execution.

You will partner with InfoSec and Cloud Infra, drive model routing across AWS Bedrock and Claude Enterprise, and build MCP servers, tool integrations, and the POC pipeline, demo to senior leadership, and stay ahead of AI developments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI infrastructure and agents.
• Experience standing up AI gateways or API/model-access gateways.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience with a major cloud platform in production.
• Designing REST APIs with authentication patterns and webhooks.
• Knowledge of security and data-handling fundamentals and risk.
• Ability to demo and present technical work to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point person for the AI CoE infrastructure.
• Manage the AI Gateway including logging, routing, and cost controls.
• Build and maintain MCP factory and skills registry.
• Own intake, vetting, and publishing MCPs to the AI Tool Hub.
• Evolve architecture with growing demand and ensure reliability.
• Drive model routing across providers and maintain observability.
