Job summary

Flagler Health is hiring an AI Operations Associate to build the AI and automation layer behind its back-office and clinical operations. You will lead the automation roadmap, ship scalable automations, and collaborate with BizOps, RCM, and Product to drive measurable efficiency gains.

You will own data integrations with major EHRs, implement internal AI tooling, and guide vendors and internal teams on reliable production systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in management consulting, software engineering, product management, or a similar analytical/technical role, plus a bachelor's degree.
• Bias toward action: scope ambiguous problems, break them down, and ship a working solution end-to-end.
• Fluency with modern AI tooling (LLMs, agent frameworks, prompt engineering) and a sense of where AI works well vs. breaks down.
• Hands-on API access and light scripting (Python, JavaScript). read code, build automations, and debug.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the automation roadmap and deliver measurable operational leverage against it.
• Shadow clinical and back-office teams to identify high-ROI automation opportunities and build repeatable shipping processes.
• Lead data integrations across major EHRs, ensuring error handling and pipeline reliability.
• Match stack to workflow with APIs, portal integrations, and browser/desktop automation for last-mile flows.
• Stand up internal AI tooling and train teammates to use it effectively.
• Scope and manage with automation vendors, ensuring delivery, quality, and reliability.
• Partner with Engineering on integration patterns and data contracts; define what belongs in product vs. ops.
• Enforce documentation, monitoring, and change management for production systems.
