Location: Fully remote (US) | Type: Junior / early-career individual contributor | Pay: $60,000-$90,000 base
This is the embedded adoption-and-feedback seat that grows into an AI Program Manager. The role sits in Business Operations at a fully remote insurance and risk-advisory consulting firm.
The company is putting AI tools and workflows into production. Building them is the easy half. Getting people to trust them and use them consistently is harder, and that's where this role comes in.
You'll be the in-house owner of adoption and feedback, the person who makes the technology stick. You'll work closely with teams day to day, train people one on one, spot when real workflows drift from what a system assumes, and keep the gap between the floor and leadership small.
This is an early-career, individual-contributor role. You'll be hired for how quickly you learn, how much you own, and how well you work with people who are nervous about AI, not for a long resume. The technical pieces are teachable, and you'll have real support there.
Be the embedded champion day to day, walking the floor, sitting with teams using AI systems, answering the "can it do this?" and "why did it do that?" questions in person, and building trust one conversation at a time
Drive adoption use by use through short training sessions, side-by-side walkthroughs, and quick reference notes written in the team's own language
Track who is using what, and where people get stuck
Keep systems aligned to how work really happens, map the actual workflow, notice where it has drifted from what the AI assumes, and flag issues before output goes wrong
Translate between the floor and leadership, in both directions, using plain language
Operate and lightly extend the deployed tools
Pull the numbers behind analytics and AI applications, then upscale cleanly to the internal lead when something is beyond your scope
An ownership instinct
The ability to build trust with non-technical people
Comfort being the visible advocate for a new way of working
A maniacal problem-solver pattern, someone who keeps after the best way to solve a business problem and reaches for whatever tool fits, without getting stuck on being "the tool X expert"
AI Engagement
AI engagement is expected, not a bonus
The candidate should be able to show they've already leaned into tools like ChatGPT or Claude on their own initiative
Technical Signals, Secondary but Teachable
Basic data literacy
Process mapping and workflow observation
General comfort exploring software tools
Consulting, professional-services, or customer-facing experience
Time in an operations, customer success, support, or coordinator role
A track record of being first to adopt a new analytical tool and pulling others along
Experience training or onboarding coworkers
This role can grow from AI Operations Analyst to AI Program Manager, with ownership expanding to a portfolio of systems, teams, and lightweight governance.
The growth path leans heavily toward consulting, change management, consensus-building, and cross-functional coordination.
This role reports into Business Operations.
