LatchBio is seeking an AI Neuroscientist to lead the scientific standard for evaluating AI agents in neuroscience. You will define gold-standard ground truth, design realistic research workflows, and curate multi-modal datasets spanning electrophysiology, imaging, single-cell omics, and behavior.

Qualificações

• PhD or MD/PhD in neuroscience or a closely related field.
• Hands-on neuroscience research with first-hand data analysis and publication record.
• Direct experience analyzing raw data in at least two modalities (e.g., electrophysiology, neuroimaging, single-cell omics).
• Deep expertise in at least one area and fluency across system levels.
• Strong command of experimental design and statistics.
• Proficiency in AI agent use with critical judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Define expert reasoning and write gold-standard answers with defendable rationale.
• Design research scenarios across hypothesis, model-system choice, and data processing.
• Curate multi-modal data bundles (electrophysiology, imaging, omics, behavior).
• Pair basic-science tasks with disease contexts to test transfer of understanding.
• Work with software engineers to turn judgment into new workflows.
• Test and adjudicate claims, and judge agent outputs against evidence.
