Job summary

EPAM Systems is building AI-native solutions with agents, workflows and the harness. You will work closely with SMEs and end-users to design feedback loops and write production code, including evals and observability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience with production AI/LLM apps.
• Proven agent-design judgment and task-harness context fitting.
• Ability to lead discovery with SMEs and end-users.
• Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel and major providers.
• Expert-level Python and software fundamentals.
• Strong RAG, vector DBs, embeddings and context management.
• Experience deploying to cloud with containers and CI/CD.
• Excellent English communication (C1).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship AI-native systems end-to-end including tools and context engineering.
• Create evaluation pipelines to prove system usefulness.
• Design for failure with retries, fallbacks, costs, and human-in-the-loop.
• Capture domain knowledge and reusable workflows across engagements.
• Engage early to shape use cases and assess feasibility.
• Collaborate with SMEs and end-users through interviews and UAT to fit real workflows.
