Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer III for a remote, 12+ month engagement.

The role focuses on building AI-native systems that automate processes across data platforms and enterprise systems, with agentic workflows and human-in-the-loop safety. You will design data models, implement full-stack apps using Next.js and TypeScript, and integrate with CRM/ERP-like systems while leveraging AI-assisted development tools for coding, review, and refactoring.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building production-grade AI-enabled systems.
• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern React frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows that operate against real operational data, including tool and function interfaces, context and retrieval strategies, evaluation harnesses, and the guardrails and human-in-the-loop checkpoints that make autonomous action safe.
• Design and implement entity and object schemas in a custom ORM-style data framework, including authorization and validation rules, so that agents and applications read and write through a single governed data layer.
• Build full-stack web applications using Next.js (React and TypeScript), API routes, and modern frontend patterns, including interfaces for reviewing, approving, and correcting agent-initiated work.
• Build and extend integrations with the organization's enterprise systems of record, including custom objects, triggers, automation, mutation and validation logic, and reporting.
• Define API contracts, data migration strategies, and rollback and conflict-resolution patterns for systems running in parallel during transition.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent) as a core part of the daily workflow for implementation, code review, and refactoring.
• Identify manual, high-friction business processes in partnership with operations stakeholders, then propose and ship the agentic or automated replacement and measure the time and cost it recovers.
• Participate in the team oncall rotation for the tools you build, triaging and resolving production issues in internal systems.
