Job summary

Insight is a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator with cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent edge expertise. This AI Engineer role offers full remote work, with opportunities to design production-grade AI agents and multi-agent systems for enterprise clients.

You will build agentic AI capabilities, integrate tools and APIs, and ensure reliable, safe AI deployments across mobile, web, and Power Platform experiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development.
• 2+ years leading technical delivery on client-facing or cross-functional projects.
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features to production: tool/function calling, multi-step workflows.
• Experience building retrieval-augmented generation pipelines with vector stores and Azure AI Search.
• Strong C#/.NET production APIs; Python when needed.
• Frontend experience with React/TypeScript to integrate agentic back ends.
• Azure and Foundry experience including Foundry Agent Service and Foundry Models.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI systems using Microsoft Foundry.
• Build and manage tools and connectors along the agentic chain.
• Develop RAG and data-centric AI capabilities using Azure AI Search and other data sources.
• Implement prompt strategies, guardrails, and evaluation loops to improve reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to deliver practical AI solutions.
