Smartcat is building an AI-native data platform to empower decision-making across humans and AI agents. You will partner with Data, Product, Engineering, GTM, and AI teams to deliver self-service analytics, intelligent automation, and agent-driven insights.

As a Senior Data/Analytics Engineer in the US, you’ll evolve a cloud-native architecture from batch to streaming, raise observability and governance, and deliver AI-ready data products while mentoring engineers and shaping best practices.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record designing and operating modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from design through delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, dbt, Airflow, Python for data engineering, SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with streaming architectures and event-driven systems.

Responsabilidades

• Help transform Smartcat’s data platform into an AI-native foundation for self-service analytics and automation.
• Collaborate across Data, Product, Engineering, GTM, and AI teams to enable AI agents and decision support.
• Drive transition from batch to near real-time/streaming pipelines.
• Improve reliability, observability, governance, and performance across the data stack.
• Build AI-ready data products and semantic layers for AI agents and business users.
• Mentor peers and raise engineering standards through reviews and architecture input.
