Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to build production-grade Java/Spring Boot services and AI-assisted workflows for coding, testing, and documentation.

You will review AI-generated code for security and performance, integrate services with workflow platforms, and collaborate with AI and data teams to deliver features end-to-end. Strong knowledge of microservices, REST, SQL, and cloud-native deployments is required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance production-grade Java/Spring Boot backend services and microservices with AI-assisted workflows.
• Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code for correctness, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Integrate services with workflow platforms (Temporal, Camunda, Flowable, JBPM or Drools) to support automation and decision support.
• Collaborate with AI-Native Tech Lead, data teams, and adjacent teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Contribute to CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud-native deployments (OpenShift/Kubernetes, AWS).
