Job summary

Life360 is hiring an AI‑Native Senior Software Engineer II to lead Android growth and monetization experiments within the Revenue Experimentation team. You’ll own end‑to‑end delivery across multiple concurrent surfaces, shipping AI‑native workflows and contributing to scalable engineering playbooks for the mobile org.

You will collaborate across product, design, data science, and analytics, leveraging AI tools to generate specs, code, and tests.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Android software engineering experience shipping production apps at consumer scale.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, Jetpack/ViewModel/Navigation, Hilt or Dagger in a large, multi‑team codebase.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Android growth and monetization features and experiments — subscription paywalls and pricing tests, ad placement and mediation experiments, one‑time purchases and upsell surfaces.
• Collaborate with product, design, data science, and analytics to translate hypotheses into shippable experiments.
• Work with AI tooling as a first‑class collaborator to generate specs, code and tests, verify results, and perform reviews.
• Instrument experiments with exposure logging and analytics to ensure trustworthy results downstream.
• Ship polished, performant Android experiences to tens of millions of users with attention to startup time, memory, battery, and crash‑free rates.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to team processes and the evolution of AI‑native engineering practices.
