Job summary

Vanguard in Malvern, PA seeks a senior AI leader to guide a multi‑disciplinary team delivering diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive and generative AI capabilities for the Advice and Wealth Management business.

You own the end‑to‑end lifecycle—framing problems, design, model and agent development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring and decommissioning—within enterprise responsible AI and model risk governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of analytical leadership experience.
• Hands‑on design and productionizing LLM‑based systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, ML engineers and applied AI practitioners.
• Own end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI capabilities within governance framework.
• Develop and implement agentic design, model portfolio, and evaluation processes.
• Partner with risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure responsible AI.
