Job summary

Vanguard seeks a senior leader to guide a multidisciplinary data science team delivering diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive, and generative AI capabilities for the Advice and Wealth Management business. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from problem framing to deployment within a governance framework.

You will balance people leadership with hands-on technical engagement, collaborating with product, risk and compliance to drive business value.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of analytical work experience with leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, evaluating and productionizing LLM-based systems.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation and multi-agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, ML engineers and AI practitioners.
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle from problem framing to deployment and decommissioning.
• Establish governance, risk management and responsible AI practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytic solutions.
