Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Emerging Technology Solutions Architect - Machine Learning to drive assessment and adoption of ML technologies across the enterprise. You will partner with data science, data engineering, and risk teams to design scalable ML solutions and governance frameworks.

The role emphasizes hands-on solution design, strong leadership, and the ability to operationalize ML at scale in cloud environments, with a focus on responsible AI and enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of software/ML engineering or solution architecture experience.
• Strong foundation in ML, software engineering, and architecture.
• Experience deploying production ML systems in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and governance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate emerging ML technologies and tooling for enterprise adoption.
• Define scalable ML architectures covering data ingestion to deployment and governance.
• Lead and mentor teams across data science, data engineering, and platform engineering.
• Establish reusable patterns for MLOps, model serving, monitoring, and observability.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate complex ML concepts into actionable plans.
