Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Emerging Technology Solutions Architect – Machine Learning to evaluate, design, and guide adoption of ML technologies across the enterprise.

This role partners with data science, data engineering and platform teams to define scalable, secure solutions enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven business outcomes. The role will establish reusable patterns for MLOps, model serving, feature stores, automated retraining and observability, while ensuring governance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Eight or more years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, data engineering, solution architecture, or related technical roles.
• Strong foundation in machine learning, software engineering, and solution architecture.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate emerging machine learning technologies and tooling for enterprise adoption.
• Define scalable architectures supporting the ML lifecycle from ingestion to governance.
• Lead production ML systems design, including MLOps, monitoring, and retraining.
• Assess security, performance, and cost tradeoffs for enterprise architectures.
• Partner with data scientists and engineers to operationalize models at scale.
• Provide technical leadership on ML architecture and deployment strategies.
• Establish standards for model governance and explainability.
• Translate complex concepts for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
